Football in the Community is an award-winning charity, which provides direction (especially in disadvantaged communities) through sport and education, improving people’s health, confidence and skills.  We have over 30 full-time sports coaches who are specialists in delivering a wide range of fun activities to a diverse range of participants.  We:

 

• increase the numbers playing sport and develop innovative projects

 

• encourage healthier, active lifestyles and positive behaviours

 

• re-engage young people in learning

 

• develop programmes to reduce youth offending

 

• encourage inclusion by targeting specific groups

 

• promote Football in the Community as a community resource

 

• create employment and volunteering opportunities
