 Notts County Football in the Community are key partners of the Nottinghamshire Disability Football Focus Group, set up in 2001- The aim is to provide “football for all”, ensuring everyone who wants to participate has a fair and equal chance to do so.
- As a group, the partners, including West Notts College,
- Notts FA, YMCA, Notts County Council Disability Unit, are to
- deliver a 5 year plan.
- Football in the Community provides coaching and playing
- opportunities for disabled footballers throughout the
- City and county.
- Football in the Community are currently working with Cerebral Palsy Sport in an effort to provide coaching and playing opportunities at all levels
- The Community scheme is currently assisting the development of Wheelchair football.
