“Play the kids” is a phase often used in the football world. In terms of Football in the Community it’s all about the half time entertainment, where youngsters from local junior clubs get the chance to come and perform on the famous Meadow Lane turf. It is likely that each season will see up to 350 youngsters under the age of 11 treat us all to some excellent action during the intervals.
On a number of occasions both Notts County Boys and Girls Centre of Excellence teams have played at Meadow Lane. Both teams are guaranteed a tremendous reception whenever they take to the pitch.
