- The Youth Training Scheme is aimed at 16-18 year olds who are trained to work in the community as coaches.
- During their 2 years attached to Football in the Community they will earn various coaching qualifications, whilst working on a daily basis in a variety of coaching situations.
- This opportunity to gain full-time practical experience is attractive to school leavers and to young footballers who may not have been offered full time employment by the professional club.
- The Community programme at Notts County also delivers a number of Football Association coaching course.
- These include: Junior Football Organisers Course, Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football and the Coaching Disabled Footballers Course.
- We also run a very popular work placement scheme, linking with local secondary schools to offer the chance to gain real practical knowledge of working with children.
- Many of our current full-time staff started through a work placement.
