Notts County Football in the Community operate a number of schemes which are specifically designed to give youngsters from all sections of the community- whatever their background – the opportunity to find a new sense of direction through sport.
- The alternative education programme run by Football in the Community is aimed at those in 13-16 age range who are under the threat of exclusion from school.
- The project involves youngsters attending football-related sessions at Meadow Lane Stadium.
- Following a successful pilot scheme, run with Hadden Park High School in 2001, we have developed regular structured sessions, including both practical and theory based activities.

- Heading for Goal is an innovative programme which combines academic subjects and sport to raise the levels of attainment for 14-16 year olds who have been permanently excluded from school.
